Consumer Critiques
Price is appealing but you will recall the poor quality extended immediately after the low price tag is forgotten. Drill is made by AllTrade. Drill head on the drill I received for Christmas was not correctly aligned, so the bit wobbles with each turn of the drill head. I sent it back to AllTrade for correction though beneath warranty with a thorough description of the challenge but the drill came back in the identical condition in which I sent it. Wish I had basically returned it.
The drill motor appears so be ok. However, the NiCD batteries are NO Decent.
They do not hold a charge. There is a Nation Wide RECALL on these units.
Contact 1-877-231-9239 for assist in replacing these components, charger, and two batteries. By the way, this contains 19 VDC and 21.6 VDC units.
The case is extremely good and the extra parts, bits and so on. seem to be ok.
