Consumer Critiques
I was very shocked by the performance of this lightweight drill. I historically purchase high-finish cordless drills, but when my Makita 12V batteries wouldn't hold a charge, I decided to decide to purchase anything less expensive. I've only owned this for 3 months and it hasn't let me down. I just about continually use a fast-transform driver in the chuck so I've in no way seen the chuck slip (as one other reviewer mentioned). I wish a carrying case and/or added battery was included but I will survive with out it. My only gripe is that the trigger is somewhat sensitive and it really is tough to maintain a continuous slow speed (i.e. driving tiny screws). Outstanding torque at high speed, even though. You could order two or three of these for the value of a high-finish drill. For the income, this is a terrific product.
This drill is not for heavy drilling, the chuck does not grab well and bits tend to spin, but it is especially hassle-free and light! For heavy perform I nonetheless choose a 120 volt drill.
